Today, Pembe proudly manufactures premium fortified maize flour, wheat flour, and animal feeds, serving customers across Kenya, Our Promise remains the same: to deliver products that bring quality, nutrition, and confidence to every table.

Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Salim Bajaber is the visionary founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Pembe Flour Mills Ltd. Since establishing the company in 1989, he has transformed a modest milling operation into one of East Africa’s leading flour and animal feed manufacturers.
Driven by an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction, Mr. Bajaber has led Pembe Flour’s growth through continuous investment in modern milling technology, world-class manufacturing processes, and the highest food safety standards. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its presence beyond Kenya, serving customers across East and Central Africa.
